Viengsamai Fetters (pronounced wing-sum-eye fed-erz) is a queer Laotian-American fiction editor and professional bookworm.
They are currently an Associate Editor with Erewhon Books, working with award-winning and bestselling authors such as Kalyn Josephson, Foz Meadows, Lee Mandelo, Tlotlo Tsamaase, Brittney Arena, Linda H. Codega, and Ai Jiang. Prior to their editorial career, Viengsamai worked as a bookseller, where they fell in love with connecting people of all stripes with their perfect reads.
They graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor’s degree in Literature, where they also completed significant study in Critical Race & Ethnic Studies, Anthropology, and Women’s & Gender Studies.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Viengsamai has made their home in Chicagoland with their cat, Frankenstein.
